"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body."
1 Corinthians 6:19-20

I believe that Jesus--God in human form--came to earth, lived the perfect life that I couldn't, and died the death that I deserve for my mistakes, all so that I can have a relationship with the Lord and eternal life with him in heaven. Given this, I echo Paul's sentiments in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. To me, glorifying God with my body looks like exercising with health, not shape, in mind. I want to take care of the body that the Lord gave me, not try to change it into something that it wasn't meant to be. So, I believe in eating enough and eating well, so that I feel energized to serve God in other facets of my life. After all, it's not about the food or the fitness--it's about using my life to serve the One who saved mine.
